Swedish Folk Art Cherry Wood Carving of Bird Feeding Chick in Tree Trunk, 1970s

A skillfully carved wall plaque in solid cherry wood. It depicts a parent bird feeding its baby bird within a pertruding tree trunk. Anonymously hand-carved in Sweden in the mid-late 20th century. It has no signature or marking only a cleverly made wall-mount to its back. Its a piece unique from a Volk Art Swedish artisan. Measurements: 29x26x6 cm.
