Vintage Design
A Swedish 1950s armchair made from solid oak with a distinctive sawbuck-shaped profile. The seat and backrest are crafted from molded plywood, upholstered in a textile with a woven zebra pattern in off-white and black. A neat model with short armrests, making it comfortable as well as compact in size. This chair was obviously inspired by Danish predecessors, not least Hans J. Wegner’s iconic CH29. It was produced by the Swedish manufacturer Bröderna Johansson in Smålandsstenar.
