A fine pair of painted Paris Porcelain plates with gilt rims, one with a hollyhock, the other with a spray of various flowers including roses and Larkspur exquisitely painted. Provenance: private collection, prior to that, fine porcelain dealer Bardith, New York, NY, retaining original tags from Bardith, (priced at $1250/pr.). First half of the 19th century. Very nice condition, light wear, slight rubbing to parts of the outer gilded edge.
