The four charming dinner plates have blue country scenes on cream “terre de fer” or pottery stamped Teniers, France. Three have the same scene of boys playing, while the fourth one have a dancing couple and bagpiper. The fourth is just a fraction of an inch, possibly 1/8″ smaller than the 3 matching plates. These French ironstone dinner plates with blue transferware dates from the early 20th century. Each plate has the manufacturer stamp on the back and would add to your table a shabby chic accents and a French country touch.
