Vintage Design
Elegant and severe Empire style console with mirror made of wood with gilded bronze decorations.
Top in Portoro marble, one of the most precious marbles in the world, characterized by a black base decorated with veins ranging from white to golden yellow, extracted in the Gulf of Poets in Porto Venere.
The Empire Style was born in France at the beginning of the 19th century, so called to celebrate the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, it has a more sober style compared to the styles used in the 18th century, darker colors given the extensive use of mahogany and marble from dark tones.
It is in an excellent state of conservation, with no structural defects or signs of wear and a slight patina.
