Antique French Provincial Paul Dumas floral hand printed wallpaper, green, yellow, cream. Floral wreath print in the Edwardian style, circa 1910. Exceedingly rare. 9.8 continuous yards. This is an original Paul Dumas design and production. It is not a modern reprint of a Dumas design. From a French estate. Paul Dumas ran a printing factory in Montreuil, France throughout the first few decades of the 20th century. He was not only the premier printer and print designer of “papier peints” in the first half of the 20th century in France but also the first manufacturer to utilize the technology of using the same cylinders to print both paper and textiles.
