Vintage Design
A set of two armchairs designed by the Italian designer, painter, and sculptor Adriano Piazzesi in the 1970s. These space-age style armchairs are constructed of original solid wood structure and have been reupholstered in an Italian white bouclé. The design, workmanship, and shape are highly indicative of the glamorous and playful style of 1970s Italy and would make a sculptural and attractive piece for any interior style.
Adriano Piazzesi (1923-2009) was a renowned Italian designer who worked in the furniture industry for over half a century. He was associated with several editions of the Salone del Mobile exhibition in Milan and numerous exhibitions in Paris and Frankfurt.
