19th century French faience 8 piece hand-painted tea service represents the remarkably unique and definitively French porcelains produced in the fabled region around Rouen! Hand-made, each piece is meticulously hand-painted with an intricate design inspired by nature across the entire facade. Designed as a set, the platter helps protect table tops in style, with the teapot providing a central theme around which the platter, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, and pair of cups with saucers revolve. Rich natural colors include cobalt blue, copper red, saffron yellow and olive green, with stylized floral and foliate motifs in a multitude of expressions appearing all around.
